George was a wonderful role model and provider for his family. He was a 50 year member of the IBEW and was a “top dollar” foreman electrician. George had many successful years in sales management with Greenlee Tool Company. He was truly devoted to his family and made sure to have an active part in the lives and activities of all six of his children. George always managed to attend football games, track and gymnastic meets, golf tournaments, soccer and baseball games and as many recitals and plays as he could. Although his health had prevented him from being as active in the lives of his nine grandchildren, he loved them dearly and cherished visits and catching up on their latest activities. George was an avid sports fan and could be found many Sundays rooting for his favorite Washington Redskins or more recently for the Houston Texans. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and administration at Windsong Village and Memorial Hermann Southeast for all their care, support and attention. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in George’s honor to Christ Clinic at 5504 First Street, Katy, Texas 77493 or online at www.christclinickaty.org/make-a-donation.
