Eleanor truly had a servant’s heart and was always willing to help out wherever she could. She was devoted to her church and volunteered at St. Helen Catholic Church with blood drives, the annual bazaar, serving on the Altar Society and as a founding member of the Women’s Club Society which later became the Catholic Daughters. Her caring nature also extended to caring for her family where she was the primary caregiver to her mother and disabled sister, Ruthie until their passings. Eleanor loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening, yard work or her many trips to Galveston to spend time walking along the beach and time at their beach house. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Eleanor will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
