Obituary of Katherine Renae Hile

Katherine “Katie” Renae Hile, 19, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She is survived by her Parents, Thomas and Jennifer Hile; Brother, Zachary Hile; Grandmothers, Wilma Wesley and Dorothy Hile; longtime boyfriend, Eric Vasquez; beloved cats, Sapphire, Pipsqueak and Snickers; and a host of other family and friends. Katie was a 2013 cum laude graduate of Pearland High School. She loved to sing in the choir, active in the ROTC program and served on the Color Guard. Katie was currently a sophomore at the University of Houston where she was studying Biology before planning to transfer to Texas A&M to finish her degree to become a Veterinarian. Katie loved animals, conservationism and was an avid reader which helped her to excel throughout school. She loved her family very much and cherished the family gatherings. Katie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Katie will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
