Obituary of Steven James Eaton

Steven James Eaton, 59, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Eaton and June Ward; and brother, David Eaton. Steve is survived by his son, Justin Amato; his former wife and Justin’s mother, Cheryl Amato-Franco; brother, Michael Eaton and wife Kim; sister, Pat Loftis; his very special aunt Bettye Adams; and a host of other family and friends. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a skilled wood-working craftsman that had a successful construction business for more than 29 years. In his younger years, Steve played rugby, but soon became an avid golfer. He was a very generous man with a big heart that was selfless and always thinking of others. Steve loved his family very much and Justin was the light of his life. He was an amazing father and son. Steve will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Steve will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Chaplain Dan Danford officiating.
