Obituary of Audean Allman

Dr. Audean Allman went to be with her Lord on May 26, 2015. She was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on April 17, 1926.
Audean dedicated her life to education and others around her. Upon receiving her doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska she dedicated 33 years of outstanding and dedicated service to Texas Southern University College of Education.
Audean was preceded in death by her parents, Cecile & Jewel Crowson; brother, Jimmy Crowson and her beloved husband, Douglas.
She leaves behind her daughter, Ann Campbell and husband Robert of Pearland and son Dennis Allman and wife, Vickie of Jarrell and her beloved sister Patsy Crowson Alexander of Houston.
Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren: Heidi Lott and husband, Albert; Heather Jordan and husband, Clark; Dusty Cole and wife, Ashley; Christopher Allman and wife, Kari; Jason Allman and wife, Lanessa; Ashley Allman and Emily Campbell.
The treasures of her heart were her great grandchildren: Chloe and Camie Jordan; Savannah and Jacob Lott; Hudson & Grayson Cole; and Parker, Banner, West and Clark Allman.
Private Burial will be at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, 77038 on June 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audean’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
