Having known papa Wollney for many years I know for sure that this Obituary perfectly describes the great man we hold near and dear to our hearts and then some. Our sincere loving condolences go out to the entire family and friends. May we all carry the fond memories in our hearts and for the legend he has left behind may you boys and men strive to be half the man papa Wollney was and you will be doing great.
He loved his family wholeheartedly day or night and told the greatest stories. He had his priorities in line the best way anyone could. God please grant this family left behind the comfort and peace in their hearts that is beyond all human comprehension!!!!!! We love you PaPa Wollney and you will be missed dearly. I did not know Norbert, but I know his grandson Mark Walston. From what I know Norbert played a significant role in Mark’s life/upbringing, and from knowing Mark I know Norbert must have had a huge heart for people and a huge heart for The Lord! I wish I could have known him and learned some life lessons from a humble man rooted in Christ.
I will always treasure the time I had with papa. There will never be anything or anyone that can take his place. He was a role model, best friend, and #1popo. His smile was contagious and his heart was full of love! I will forever love you and keep you close to my heart. You fought the fight..now it’s time to Rest in Peace Popo-Mey!!
