Diane, Micah and Nathan,
I have many more memories of Gary, the child, than I do of Gary the adult. Memories of cousins growing up together in Phoenix. Of riding in the back of Uncle Bob’s pickup truck on the way to Pine Top. Of catching frogs. Of playing sardines.
To have so recently been reconnected to Gary, the adult, and having an instant heart connection with both him, and you, Diane, and then loosing him, is really hard to accept. So many miles separate us. But you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Ron and I have told repeated Gary stories. I AM coming to Houston to hug on you soon.

Dear Diane and family: There are no words to express our sorrow with you of the loss of Gary, your beloved husband and father. Even though we walked together in the Lord Jesus such a long time ago and for such a brief period, we had such a oneness of spirit. We remember your joys and sorrows but most of all your steadfast love and faithfulness. I know Jesus will keep you in His love. We will remember you often. Much love, LaNell & Larry Granger

We grieve with you at the loss of Gary, yet our grief is tempered by the steadfast hope of the resurrection in our Lord Jesus Christ. I address this to Micah and Nathan…young men. Even though we communicated infrequently, it was a blessing for me to know your dad and share fellowhip in Christ when you all lived in Lafayette. After y’all moved, whenever we talked, with years between calls, he was always full of Christ’s love and care for Christ’s kingdom and his family. May you emulate his example…an imperfect person, as we all are, but perfect in his trust in the abundant grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. May you be comforted and strengthened by our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

To the Robinson Family,
It came as great shock, when a fellow BP/Sohian told me that Gary had died. Over the years since we worked together there, Gary and I have visited briefly at lunches, and conventions.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time.

I had the pleasure of working with Gary for over six years. He was a detail-oriented, accomplished professional who was a good organizer. He had a wonderful way with people, and had tremendous empathy. Gary had a highly developed sense of humor, and a great belly laugh. We shared some excellent times together and got some very good work done, thanks to Gary. He will be greatly missed.
