Obituary of Deborah Jayne Keith

Deborah Jayne Keith, 63, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Bagley. Deborah is survived by her father, James Bagley Jr.; brother, Jim Bagley III and wife, Melanie; sister, Cheryl Bagley; nieces, Cadence and Isabella Bagley, Melodye Bradshaw and husband, Doug, Misty Granberry and husband, Justin; grand nephews and nieces, Caleb, Noah, Caitlyn, and Suri Granberry, Madelyn Bradshaw; and a host of other family and friends.
Deborah lived in Llano, Texas for 25 years and spent the majority of that time advocating for the rights of abused children. She co-founded the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center with Yvonne Evans in 1992 and was the Executive Director for 19 years until she left in 2011. Her impact on the children and families in the Hill Country area will be remembered for many years to come.
Deborah also loved living a quiet life on her 16 acres in the country. She enjoyed riding her mower and taking care of her dogs and many cats. Deborah was an avid reader and cherished curling up with a good book. She was technologically savvy and could be found many days working on her computer or playing video games.
Deborah always looked forward to the holidays and opportunities for the family to get together and spend time with her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Deborah will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 10am at the Llano Cowboy Church, which is located approximately 7 miles west of Llano on Highway 29. For directions call, 325-247-3608 or visit llanocowboychurch.org. Lunch will be provided immediately after the service.

If sending flowers, the church will be open to receive them starting at 8am on the day of the service.
