I want to think of Nell, our "Angel on Earth," as an Angel watching over us from Heaven. Her kind, ever thoughtful caring and love were expressed in her actions and infectious smile. Nell will be missed by all; especially the love of her life, Danny, and her children, grandchildren and devoted sister, Sharon.
Tears are rolling down my face as I am writing this note and thinking of some of the fun experiences we had; tubing in the river, 4-H and FFA events, watching the SuperBowl, Christmas parties, and Pampered Chef events … just to name a few. Nell will be missed by all; yet she will live on in our actions, thoughts and words as we continue to live our lives with “Angel Nell” watching over us.
As family and friends, I pray that we support each other in this loss and make certain that Danny; Angie, Tom, Dani & Madi; John & Sara; Sharon and the remaining multitude of family and friends continue to live our lives, knowing that we have been enriched with Nell’s blessings. She will remain in my heart and soul forever.

Nell is one of my true life long friends. We met in second grade. I can honestly say we were friends ever since. Though we didn't see each other for many years, that friendship never died. Our reunion a few years back was as if we had never been apart.
Nell is a loving individual who made everyone seem special. I will miss here sorely, but she will always be in my heart.

My heart is heavy at the loss of this sweet sweet soul. Nell was an organizer who brought friends together!! As a former Milby Coed with Nell, I remember her laughter and her joyful outlook! She was always happy and always finding the best in people!! I have enjoyed her weekly uplifting posts on FB and I've loved following the pictures of her adorable grand children!! I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Nell at the bank many years ago and we always stayed in touch for ever birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and all holidays. She just wished me happy birthday in February and we said our favorite saying from a song we use to listen to while working together at the bank.."Sugar Sugar" and we both said I love ya! I have known Nell since kindergarten at Pearl Rucker. She later went to Patterson but from the day we first met she was so sweet and kind. She had the prettiest smile of anyone I ever met. Nell was always very positive and helpful to all that knew her. We had not kept in contact after high school but connected about a year ago. She was funny and could really make you think about trying to be a better person. She loved family and friends around her. I will miss her bright smile and happy personality. Rest in Peace Nell, and now you are no longer in pain. I will think of you often.
