Erin,
I just now found out about Thomas. He was a tremendous Evangelist, who lead countless young people, and adults to Jesus! I am deeply saddened to hear of his untimely death, but know that he is sitting at the feet of Jesus, and praising the One he loved very much. Please know that you and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers. I’ll never forget how much I learned from Thomas while serving as a youth associate under him at Putnam City Baptist Church.
Love in Christ,
Tod Tucker

Our family was deeply grieved to hear of the loss of Thomas Young. He served as our Youth Minister at FBC McAllen for nearly two years and we and three of our four kids remember him personally. There seems no words adequate to offer for this tragedy. There is only persevering faith in God and His ultimate purposes, and trust in His sure love, which is able to sustain through a time of great trial and darkness.
Isaiah 45:3 speaks of treasures found in darkness, great riches found in secret places, and a deeply personal knowledge of God. May this Scripture prove true for you in time.
Erin, you and your family and your church have been constant in our prayers.
Love in Christ, Don & Bonnie Evans Family

Erin,
My heart was truly touch today while watching from my laptop, seeing how many lives were touched by your husband. I will continue to pray for you and your beautiful children. There are no mortal words than can express what could or should be said in times like these. The church, our brothers and sisters in Christ are holding our arms around you and the kids, and as the sun rises on each new day know tha God has a plan, and as he makes his foot prints in the sand we will take up what he has given us and follow him.
May God Bless your life and the lives that are blessed through yours.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
