Aileen, Steve and Randy, I was so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. Losing a husband and father is certainly very difficult for all of you. Words to express my sympathy are hard to compose. Aileen, I didn't know you that well, but I came to know Randy, as he was a close friend to my deceased husband, Doc Halliday. Again, I offer all of you my sympathy.

Bob and his family have been a strong and positive influence to me and my professional career for almost 40 years. His willingness to spread his life long experience with business and metals were second to none for anyone who ever knew or even met him. I know of no one in that time that ever came away after knowing him without being a better person who served society better. Most people strive to be better people. Bob strived to make everyone better. He will be missed by even those who never met him.

Dear Aileen and Family,
I enjoyed spending time with Bob and taking him and dad to see the Astros and the Shell Houston for several years. We talked the whole time and he had so many good stories to share. It hurts to see him leave us but its a great comfort to know that he left all of you with so many beautiful memories.
HE LIVED LIFE!!
We should all be so fortunate.
Prayers to all of you and god bless.
Your friends,
