Obituary of Terri Rutter

Terri A. Rutter, age 58, of Pearland, passed away on December 14, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Patricia (Sporn) Turner. She is survived by her husband, Phil Rutter; daughters, Jessica Roth and Ramie Rutter; sister, Beverly Borth; grandchildren, Justin & Jayleeann Roth, and Patty Rutter; stepfather, William Link; and a host of many other family & friends. Terri was born on January 29, 1951 in McPherson, Kansas but resided in the Houston area for the past 30 years. Terri was an excellent horticulturalist who could grow just about anything and at one time even owned a plant store. She was very creative and enjoyed painting and sewing, especially making clothes. Terri loved tinkering with gadgets or doing crafts with her grandkids. She was a wonderful matriarch who supported her family in all their endeavors. Terri was very strong in her faith and often watched the Joyce Meyers Ministries television program. She lived her faith everyday and believed in angels. Feed the Children and Operation Christmas Child were two of her favorite charities. Terri and Phil were married for 38 years. Throughout the years, they enjoyed camping, parasailing, snow skiing, and jet skiing with the kids & grandkids. Terri loved her family and will be dearly missed. A Funeral Service for Terri will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Clayton Chapel. Brother Ross Fontaine will be officiating. Interment will be at Mt.
