I have the same illness sweet Bridgette succumbed to, as do millions of other Americans. She and I met at La Hacienda back in 2007; we spent 45 days in treatment together and before long I knew I'd met my friend-soul mate.. The Nicole Richie to her Paris Hilton, lol. We were Paris and Nicole back then.
And I know many who suffer from this, don't make it, but it's a f'ing game changer when one of them happens to be a very close friend.
I'm all the way up in D/FW and had no wifi last November, so it's extra heartbreaking how I just heard this week. I miss Bridgette; she's one of the few amazing people who understood me and embraced me. I pray she rests in peace and saves me a good seat in heaven someday! Love u baby girl.
