So very sorry for your loss....Our loss too. I remember golfing with Jim, Mike and my Dad and I at Oak Knoll in Crown Point and Jim and my Dad playing Gin Rummy at our kitchen table while enjoying a cocktail or two! I hope they've got the card game going again!
We will miss him.
Take Care

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Jim's family.
I came to know him through the Rotary and his friendship with Jean(Forrest)Martin. He was an enthusiastic Rotarian, great debater and opinionated character...he was also my friend. I will miss him popping into our office for a quick hug and to say "Hi!"

Most of my interactions with Jim put us in a position as adversaries. Jim was management; I was for the Union. To Jim's credit we always managed to get through the issues and remain civil to each other in the process.
Over the years I knew him I became aware that he was a 'fair minded' person. This characteristic made him the best at his job and a sincere person to have as a friend.
He will be missed.
