Obituary of Michael Scott Russell

Michael Scott Russell, 48, passed away suddenly November 13, 2018. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nadina and William Russell, of Pearland, TX; partner, Jerry Ramirez, of Pearland; brother Gregg and wife, Brittany; nieces, Olivia and Charlotte; nephew, Benjamin; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Born April 20, 1970, in Altoona, PA, Mike moved to the Houston area during elementary school. He attended Klein High School and proudly graduated from the University of Texas in 1992, before moving to Japan for five years; followed by several years working in Boston. His career brought him back home to Houston where he pursued his love of work with non-profit organizations. Despite his continued health struggles, Mike’s spirit was never broken. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Mike’s life will take place at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Harry Vein officiating.
