We enjoyed spending time with Ken and Janet while visiting with Dave and Tina at Lake Ana, Virginia.
Gilles especially enjoyed talking to him in French, Gilles with his Native French accent and Ken with his Cajun French accent. They we both surprised at the similarities. Ken truly enjoyed life and especially freshly made, flavorful Cajun food. We pray he finds peace in heaven. Love from Miami. Deb and Gilles

A Great man for sure, my best friends Dad. He taught me:
1. How to tie a double Windsor for my neck tie.
2. Was the first to let me turn a wrench or two on his car which turned into a lifelong career in Aviation Maintenance.
3. If you ever think about throwing a boat ignition key to or from someone in the water -DONT.
4. If you own a boat, put the ignition key on a key chain that floats.
5. How to water ski after many failed attempts an Indian Creek.
6. He sold me my first Harley, which resulted a a few more lessons in "Shadetree" Mechanical skill.
7. How to replace roofing on a house, and to use a chaulkline to "Keep your row straight"
8. Me and others our confirmation class back in in April of 1984.
9. Gave me countless tips of advice, both wanted and unwanted.
10. Always greeted me with the question of "What you come over here for, an old man to kick your ass?" - As recent as just over two weeks ago.
Such a great man who made an even greater family with Janet Calder Dutile. Amen Ken and thanks for everything. You live on, in all of us and many others for sure. Rest easy and try to save me a good spot up there.....

Meet Ken around 1962 while he was in the Navy. Introduced him to his wife Janet. He always got a big kick out of calling me by my first name "Germaine" when I would call their house and he would answer. He would say hi Germaine and start to laugh. He was a great man and friend. Rest in Peace Ken. I will see you again one day and you can say Hi, Germaine once more.. Gerry

I served side by side with my friend and fellow sailor in the air crew and electronics shop of air anti submarine squadron 27 (VS-27) It was a comfort to know Ken always had my back and was always a most trust worthy buddy. He was a very good technician and navigator. We always operated from different aircraft, but had many flights together. He loved his country and served with excellence. In these later years, I learned of how much he loved his family.
I'll see you a little later my special friend.
