We go all the way back to our high-school days at Martin High School in Laredo, Texas. Zulema was full of enthusiasm, always smiling, and loved dancing the mambo. We thank her for the happy times, love, and laughter. May she have a blessed repose and eternal memory. I extend my deepest sympathy to all her
family.

Chube as I know her was a wonderful person. She always had a smile for you and always asked about our Honeys. She was a remarkable woman and I am going to miss her very much. I am at ease that she is no longer in pain and is with the Lord and her Family that had gone before her. She will be missed but God has another Angel to watch over us. Until we meet again.. Love you Chube.

There are no words that can accurately describe what a joy and blessing it was to have Zue as a friend and “Mom”. Heaven has gained an awesome angel and she will will be missed by so many. Love you Zue. Ronnie, I hope the knowledge of how loved your Mom was will bring you and the whole family some comfort.

I worked with Zue at Almeda Genoa for many years. She always had a smile and was nice to everyone. She would always critique my cross stitching. I'm glad you're not in pain anymore.

Zue is one of my favorite memories of working at the phone company. She had an eternal smile which, I’m sure continues today. I think of her every time I visit Hobby Lobby because she loved making things. I feel so blessed to have known her and look forward to seeing her again. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the coming days.

My deepest sympathy to Veronica and her family. I could go on for hours about what a lovely lady Zue was. She was far more than a co-worker. She was my “step-Mom” when I was so far away from my own and needing some Motherly attention. What a beautiful kind soul she was. Prayers of peace and comfort going out to all that loved her. I’m so grateful she was a part of my life.

Truly an exceptional woman. My parents, daughters and rest of my family will miss her dearly. We are blessed to have known "Chube" and have her part of our lives. She had such a kind, loving, gentle spirit. I will cherish one of her teapots she gave me from her collection. My daughters also still have the cross stiching she made for them when they were born. Rest in Peace dear Zue. With much love ….Linda Maldonado

Zue was the true definition of a lady. She loved each and everyone of us, faults and all. Many times I heard the “Oooh Julia” with a goggle. My kids would use her to ask me if they could go somewhere or do something because they knew if she was asking I would know she approved, therefore it was ok. She made her mark in this world and left it a better place. She is flying around heaven right now probably telling all of our family members who are with her how we are doing. I will always think of her with a crooked grin on my face.

Mammie,
I could write a novel and I would never finish writing about what a wonderful mother, daughter, best friend, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, role model, you have been to your parents, your sister, me, my sister Kenya, our brother Ricky and our families, and countless of cousins and longtime friends throughout your life.
I will miss you everyday and I know your room will not be the same without you. I take comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain, no more needles, no more doctor visits, no more medicines to worry about. You are at peace and I will be forever grateful and blessed to have had you as my Mother. I love you until the day we meet again, but for now, it's time to get some rest and nap for as long as you want.
I leave you with the song from one of my favorite shows Carol Burnett sang.
I'm so glad we had this time together,
just to have a laugh or sing a song,
seems we just get started and before you know it,
comes the time we have to say so long!
Bye Mammie, see you when I see you.
Hellos to the familia!
Love you always, Ronnie
