We enjoyed talking about high school sports. Who was better, Clear Falls or Clear Springs!!! He was the go to guy. Common phrase, I don't know go ask Carl. He will truly be missed at Clean Harbors.

I've only known Carl since 2011 and have had a working relationship with him for the majority of that time. It has been my pleasure to have known him. He has always carried himself in a professional manner interfacing with employees, colleagues and clients. He always used his science background to let the evidence point to an obvious conclusion in his methodic problem solving. A very intelligent man who was kind hearted and sensitive concerning other peoples issues or problems.
I should have begun this tribute to him as he was a Christian first. He often asked heartfelt concerned questions about other cancer patients, their treatments, their side effects, progress, etc. After the question was answered he would reply "Let them know that we are praying for them". For Christians there is victory in death and I am confident that he is in perfect peace, without any pain or discomfort.
He would enjoy talking about his family. His grin couldn't be contained when talking about his kids and their talents and plans for the future.
My sincerest of condolences to the family and friends of Carl.
