Tio Miguel,
Our Walt Disney World pioneer. Thank you for welcoming me into your home when I needed security. Your daughter and I, will forever be your “laughing hyenas.” I know you, are now with my apa. I know you both will take care of each other and catch up on all things mechanics and talk about the sea life. You will forever live in my heart. Say Hi to dad for me. See you later.
I love you, your goddaughter Denise

Where does one begin to describe the sincererest of kindness or the generosity & hospitality from one of the humblest of spirits I ever had the priviledge of meeting in my lifetime. I met Miguel & his lovely wife, Yolanda, through my wife Perla, at one of their family gatherings over a decade ago. Understandably, being the new face amongst old friends chatting away & catching up on lifes' progressions, its easy to feel a bit isolated or a little uncomfortable at first. Well, Miguel was that guy that would go out of his way to break away from the group to talk to you if he perceived you as being left out. It was always heartfelt too and you would immediately begin to abandon any reservations of being a stranger amongst old friends. This was a lasting impression that taught me to be as kind & hospitable to the stranger visiting my home as Miguel was to me when I was a stranger in his home. When I think of Miguel, I cannot help but think of
Hebrews 13:2 which states "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels." By no means, am I referring to myself as any angel, however I know in my heart, that as kind as Miguel was to everyone, I am assured to believe at some point in his life he was indeed hospitable & even entertained heavenly angels. I am also certain Miguel will be welcomed to his new home with our Dear Lord, not as a stranger, but as one of God's very own. May your kind & gentle spirit rest in peace with our Father.
Your Friends Eric & Perla

There are no words that will take away your heartache, but there is a heavenly Father that will keep you safe, will guide you and will heal your heart. I love each one of you very much. As we come together in the coming days, we no longer are saddened by the loss, but we celebrate Tio Miguel's life. The husband, the father, the grandfather, the uncle, the cousin, the son, the family man and the friend he was to each person he encountered. I bless all you with God's eternal love, peace and healing.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Always kind and considerate to not only me but also my daughter, Alison, he was such a wonderful attribute to the children he raised. Check out the smile--he shared with all. We will all miss the personable and wonderful man he was,
