I was Jesse's first grade teacher at Lawhon Elementary in Brookside. I didn't have the privilege of knowing him as an adult but I remember him being a respectful, kind, thoughtful and loving young man. My daughter, Suzanne, remained friends with Jesse through the years and she always spoke well of him. My prayers and thoughts are with Jesse's family and friends.
