Obituary of Dona J. Gaffney

Dona J. Gaffney, 54 of Houston, passed away September 21st, 2010. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Vigil; and brother, Thomas “Riley” Vigil. Dona is survived by her mother Barbara Vigil; fiancée, John Rizzo; brother, John Vigil; sister, Cynthia Moon and husband, Patrick; nephew, Sean Moon; niece, Nicole Mathes; Aunt, Joyce Areallano; cousin, Laura Figgi; and a host of many other family and friends. Dona was one of the warmest and giving people you would ever meet. Her caring nature, engaging personality and beautiful smile were the things that friends cherished the most about her. She and John enjoyed traveling together and looked forward to the opportunities they had to enjoy each others time as they strolled down secluded beaches. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Dona will be held at Clayton Funeral Home at 5530W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 on Thursday evening, September 23rd from 6:00 until 8:00. A Rosary will be held at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11011 Hall Road, Houston, Texas 77089 on Friday, September 24th beginning at 7:30 pm. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, September 25th at St. Luke’s Catholic Church at 2:00 pm.
