Obituary of Walter Hampton Peikert Jr

Walter Hampton Peikert Jr., 64, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hampton Peikert Sr and Berthie Wood Peikert. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Walter Hampton Peikert III; daughters, Tanya Allen and husband, John, Halene Pritchett; brothers, Jimmy Peikert and wife, Jennifer, Lutz Peikert and wife, Lilo; sister, Susan O’Neil and husband, Donald; grandchildren, Harbor, Dawson, Nile, Alexis, Ashilyne, Addisyn, Alexandrea, Chance, Cylin, and Casen; great grandchildren, Malina, Emmett and Zoe ; and a host of other family and dear friends. Walter was a lifelong resident of Morgan’s Point that loved his family dearly. He was an excellent provider for his family and had a long career as a crane operator. Walter had a huge heart and was always willing to help friends and family in need. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing at his favorite spots. Walter was a self-taught artist that loved to paint with acrylics. He will forever be remembered for having an amazing sense of humor and enjoyed sharing his latest magic or card trick. Walter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
