Julie,
I worked with Dennis in Lake Jackson last year and truly enjoyed harassing him as he did all of us at the clinic. We are all very shocked at this tragic news. Dennis was one of a kind and definately “woke up” the clinic with his wit, sarcasm and incredible intelligence. I know our “therapy world” will miss him. God bless you and your family! Prayers are with you!

Julie- I so enjoyed meeting and getting to know you and Dennis @ Lisa’s here in Austin for Thanksgiving. Dennis made an impression on me and it is obvious to see that he had a similar effect on others in the PT world. He came across as knowledgeable, opinionated and a true leader. My heart is heavy and shares in your sadness. I recently lost my sister and it just doesn’t seem right that good people should be taken away from us and this world when they are young. The world is certainly a better place because of the value that Dennis added. My prayers go out to you, Lisa and all those who knew and loved Dennis. -Ross Vines, PT

Julie…
Driver, as I call him, was an exceptional and awesome individual. He made an everlasting impression on me at Concentra. I always considered him a walking/talking encyclopedia due to his intelligence. Since I graduated PT school, I used his advice and suggestions to continue to enhance my career and clinical skills. And in return, I would always try and help him be ‘down with the hip hop world.’ :o) He was a blessing to those he knew. I am praying with and for you and your families. God Bless…

Dear Family of Denny: So sorry to hear of the passing of one of my teammates. Like Craig, It was a joy to play with Denny and look back at those Junior High and High School days with joy. Sports was a big part of that especially because of the teammmates. Special greeting to Frank and Norma. I always think of the Drivers when I pull into Crown Colony and pass the red house with the bent driveway. May the Lord be especially near to you all at this time.

The members of our firm and I have had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis and Julie. We all are so sorry to hear of this loss.
Dennis will be remembered as a nice and caring person–just a fun loving guy–very enjoyable to visit with him. Oh, yes–he did love basketball. You know you don’t find a lot of Indiana basketball fans in Texas—but Dennis was in the mix for sure. We all enjoyed working with him.
We are praying for the family and ask that God will provide comfort like only he can. We are all hopeful that we will see Dennis again.

Julie,
I am so sorry, you and Dennis have always opened your hearts and home to me and treated me like family, I will never forget your kindness. Please know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you.
I will always remember him, as the person who gave me my first professional oportunity, we butted heads and then became great friends, he looked out for me, he was my mentor advising me right up until the week of his passing. Honestly, and I have said this before,he was one of the smartest, sharpest minds(not just PT’s) I have ever met.
Unfortunatley,I will not be able to make to the ceremony this weekend. Julie my heart goes out to you.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis over the past year as he educated physical therapy students at LSUHSC in New Orleans. I will remember Dennis as a colleague, who was very knowledgeable in his area of expertise of orthopaedics and administration. More importantly, Dennis was a kind person. He was compassionate about the information he taught to the students. He told me one day that he was drawn to academics because his parents were wonderful educators. Dennis challenged the students and I, and he accepted challenges as well. He always wanted to make the student’s learning experiences better. I will miss seeing Dennis in his office with his extra large red coffee mug, and I will miss the opportunity to collaborate with him. I may not be able to make it to the services this weekend, but my prayers are with Julie and Dennis’ family.
