Randall was a great supervisor, mentor, role model and friend. I am sorry for this great loss to the Beverly family. But the legacy he left behind will never be forgotten and will obviously be carried on by his heirs as was evident at the service yesterday. Well done Randall. We all miss you.

Randall was a good man and a valued colleague. I worked with Randall for many years in his volunteer work with ASME Section XI – Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plants. I learned a lot from him. I was very interested in his editing work on Section XI, and he taught me everything he could about it before he left and turned his job as Chair of the Special Working Group on Editing and Review over to me. Randall was always conscientious and a hard worker. He was always willing to stop what he was doing and help another volunteer. He was a great contributor to the safety of nuclear power plants. My colleagues and I on the ASME Section XI Committee miss him.
We give our best wishes to his family.
Rick Swayne, Vice President Elect for ASME Nuclear Codes and Standards
