Randall loved his family and was affectionately known as “Papo.” Coming from a large family of eight, and creating one of his own, family was always paramount. Randall was an excellent example of a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Whether he was attending extra curricular school activities, planning get togethers or organizing family reunions, everyone always counted on him. After graduating from Wilmington College with a Bachelors of Science in 1967, he moved to Las Vegas to pursue his career as a nuclear engineer. No matter how far away he lived, he always remained in constant contact with his family and friends. While in Las Vegas, he met Olga, the love of his life, who he married on June 19, 1970. Over four decades later, their marriage has proven to be the epitome of what a marriage should be; love that is generous and unconditional. As a father and a father figure, he instilled his moral values, commitment to family and a strong work ethic, which have been and will continue to be passed on. Randall was an excellent provider for his family and equally driven in his profession. His career relocated him and his family to San Antonio, Texas working for Southwest Research Institute, and then later moved to Lake Jackson, Texas for an opportunity at the South Texas Nuclear Project. He resided in Lake Jackson for 25 years and recently finished his career as a contractor for NASA with Jacobs Engineering. In his spare time, Randall enjoyed playing cards, traveling, golfing, puzzles and spending time with the family. Randall and Olga’s home was always open to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Randall will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Clayton Funeral Home at 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
