Although I was not a close friend of Janie’s, it still leaves a large hole in my heart realizing I will never meet her in this reality anymore. I will always cherish knowing her as a beautiful woman inside and out. My deepest and sincerest condolence goes to all the people who have ever crossed paths with Janie and for the ones that never got the opportunity. I am still in disbelief and will take considerable time for me to mourn our loss. Roger. Out………..

To the family of Janie, Words can not express how sorry we are for your loss and especially in such a tragic way. I only had the pleasure of knowing Janie for approx 2 years, which was such a blessing to have done so. I met her through my boyfriend Daniel Gonzales from whom she played on his pool leaugue team. She always treated me as a friend she had for many years and always entered the room with a smile on her face. A smile that made you want to ask “what are you up to” or “what have you done now”? She truly was a very swett and kind-hearted person. We can question God’s work of reason, but only trust and believe he knows what is best. Our Father whom art in heaven is what we all must believe, for that is where ourselves will one day wish to be. It’s important for you all to know that she was loved by many and she is in a much better place than we are, and she will be truly missed. May the Lord bless you all during this hard time and hopefully the love she carried will give you the strength to get through this pain in your hearts.

Janie, our buddy, Cricket and I will truly miss you. I have lost my pool buddy, but know that you have alot of great pool challengers to learn from up there. Like I used to tell you “kick butt and take names later”! You left a Permanent impression in our hearts with your being. Your smile and laughter will be forever engraved in our minds. Your children are as beautiful as you are, you did a great job.
Betty, Rebecca and Sal.. you are in our prayers and cherish the wonderful memories of a great person.
Love Josie and Cricket

The Bible says to mourn with those who mourn and to rejoice with those who rejoice. We join in the pain you feel at the loss of your mother. Janie was a beautiful woman with a great zest for life! When Rebecca came into the Tate family, we adopted the entire family into our lives, and we pledge our support and constant prayers for each of you at this time. We love you and regret that our distance does not allow us to participate in today’s services.

I worked w/ Janie for about 5 years. I can attest to her generous heart. She was a very friendly person who constantly took others under her wing. She was always helping others – either helping raising money for someone less fortunate or helping a coworker sell girl scout cookies. She had many friends at Puffer who greatly miss her and her kind heart. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. May you rest in peace Janie.

My prayers go out to Juanitas family….She was the bestfriend I could ever have. She always stopped by when she was in town, here in Corpus Christi. Even if it was 5 minutes or 3 hours I truly enjoyed her visits. They were filled with positive and good talk. We were never gossips, because we always knew that no one was perfect. The times we spent together will be memories that will never die. I will always love this wonderful woman. We grew up together and she will remain in my heart all the rest of my days.
