Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom.
We will remember her smile, laugh, and telling everyone, “We’re burning daylight!” She kept everyone at Bruners on their toes.

My Aunt Hazel was the most precious aunt a niece could have asked for. She was always there when I needed her. She was there when I was born, when I married, when my mom died, etc. She was there, with my mom, every summer ensuring I was one of the best dressed girls in school. She was the best cook and seamstress, ever. There is truly an empty place in my heart. She is irreplaceable and I loved her with all of my heart.

Condolences to all the family. I hold a special place in my heart for Miss Hazel. Growing up, she was always someone who was very encouraging at church and loved to joke with. She always wanted to know how things were going with me. I will miss her. Until we meet again.

I worked with Hazel at Bruners Department store in Beeville. What a lady! She was such a pleasure to be around. And the Western Week Parade wasn’t complete without seeing her on the fire truck waving at everyone. Mr. and Mrs. Childress were such a delight. Your great loss is heaven’s gain.
God bless you all.
