Cynthia was a wonderful teacher. She waged the war of teaching my son, Matthew Miles. While he was a student of hers, Cynthia’s mother died and my Matt sent her a sympathy card. She was so impressed and every time she saw me she would always tell me how special that was. We loved her. She was such a good sport after diagnosis. I took food (I do not cook and when I do, it is rather Yuk). She was always gracious about my cooking. We will so miss her. Judy Zavalla and Matthew Miles

Cynthia was a beautiful lady – both outside and in. I don’t think I every saw her without a smile on her face. The cruise we took with Cynthis and Royce along with her sister Doris and Marshall was a great adventure.
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

As much as we love Doris and Marshal is how sad we are for the loss of such an amazing sister. Mike and I were never blessed to have met Cynthia but through the hilarious stories we heard, we feel like we knew her.
Guys, we will pray for a speedy healing for you and your family even though you will always miss her. I know you would never called her back from her heavenly home even if you could. We are comforted to know that her she is where she where she deserves to be.

I was so sorry to read about Cynthia’s passing.
We were pleased to work with her when the kitchen granite was installed. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe it was her daughter who had some CA challenges at that time. What a lovely person and a joy to work with. May you enjoy many happy memories of your time with Cynthia.

Cynthia & I joined Houston Ground Angels near it’s inception in 2001.
As Mission Cooordinator and later as President of HGA, I remember the many times that CeCe drove cancer patients to or from Houston area airports and the Medical Center.
Even when she was not on top of the world herself, she always gave herself cheerfully to help those patients in need, as she truly understood their needs.
Although we did not have occasion to mix sociallly, we became true friends through this association.
She will be greatly missed, but we rejoice in knowing that in God’s loving care she will always be remembered lovingly by those whose lives she touched.

Dear Royce and Terry:
It was many years ago when our paths crossed at Salem Village and all our kids were in shcool together. We have thought of you all over the years, and our now grown kids have reported when they saw you and told us how you were. We were so very sorry to see that you had lost Cynthia. May your sorrow be replaced by beautiful thoughts and memories one day, and may God bless you all at this time.

To all of Cynthia’s family:
I remember Cynthia as a cute, delightfully spunky little girl more than as the beautiful woman she became. Geographical distance kept us from knowing one another better, but she was a cousin I admired and loved. I send my love to Areta, Barbara, Doris, Jerry and Mike and their families. I know what a void you feel. Royce, I have never met you, but your love and care for Cynthia makes me feel a kinship to you also. May our Lord, who knows our every heartache and pain, bless all of you and give you peace and comfort.
Love to all of you,
Patsy

Although I was never lucky enough to actually teach with Cynthia, I always enjoyed seeing her at workshops, at church, and of course at Kelley’s. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and a kind word to say to everyone. She was so proud of her daughter Lisa and I was fortunate to get to work with Lisa for a short time. Cynthia’s loving spirit will be carried on in her treasured daughter. Heaven is surely blessed today to receive such a sweet angel!
