I am so sorry to hear of Daniel’s passing. I went to St. Peters School with his brother Jerry and of course knew Daniel as the Ebers family vacationed at The Lake of the Ozarks and invited me to go with them on several occasions. What a wonderful fun loving family. I just lost my brother in January and I do understand the lose it brings deep in our hearts. But just understand that Daniel is on Angels Wings now, so he is always there with you and has really never left you. God Bless all of you.

Kayla, T and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Daniel’s passing, as the loss of a loved one so quickly is always hard to understand and comprehend. Daniel’s smile and joking manner will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to you all and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. The hall is not as wide as we sometimes think and we are always there. Love you all, Charlie, Debbie, Chase, Lois and all

WOW I never in a million years expected to be writing on Daniel Ebers Memorial Pages,
I met Daniel about 25 years ago through Braeswood Assembly of God Church and also met Kayla there soon after. Daniel was learning American Sign Language there and was a fast learner at it. He always was it seemed. Kayla who already knew ASL came in to the picture they met fell in love and what a joy it was to watch them fall in love get married and form a beautiful family with Thomas,Joseph,Caleb and Benjamin and now Alexis. I always felt like Daniel was my brother and Kayla my sister. They are wonderful friends and I treasure them immensely. I remember Daniel having his first Christmas in Houston, because it was with no snow. Kayla, I am here and you have my heartfelt prayers and condolensces.
Please let me know what to do to help you.

I met Daniel and his wife Kayla at Second Baptist Church around 1993. We had in common that we were Christian, loved discussing and debating the Bible, and chess. Daniel was always so friendly, and his keen sense of humor kept me laughing. He always had a joke or pun to share.
In 1994, Daniel was searching AOL for “Christian” and “chess”, and found a new friend, Don Gaetke, of Minnesota. He introduced Don to me, and the three of us then played chess with each other through the Internet, and we had numerous debates on Biblical issues, including old earth/young earth. The three of us became a trio of best friends.
When Don flew down to Houston to meet us, both Daniel and I met him at the airport. We had a great time together. To this day we have been a close trio who have kept in touch via e-mail.
Daniel was so talented in his work. God prospered him in whatever he put his hand to – computers, network marketing, home schooling, witnessing – everything.
Though in the past 10 years our respective family duties kept us from seeing each other in person very often, I always knew that Daniel was one of my very best friends. I knew that if I ever needed anything, that he would be there for me, no matter what the cost.
He always told me, “Love you, Brother.” We were truly Brothers in the Lord.
Don and I are both a couple years older than Daniel, and we were shocked to our cores to hear of his passing. We said that now Daniel will get the answers to our debates before we will. Daniel now is with Jesus and must be so happy.
I have so many good memories of things Daniel told me and times I was blessed to spend with him.
Kayla, we love you and our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you. If there’s ANYTHING I can do, please let me know. – Mark Kislingbury

Dear Family and Friends,
I am extremely saddened and grieved by the news of the sudden loss of my friend Daniel, –this great man of God. Daniel was my long distance Internet friend who inspired me in many ways, and on many levels as a friend, and brother in Christ.
Daniel’s sense of humor was infectious and quick, and his reasoning astute. He was always practical, and yet had no problem flirting with those ideas which could not be easily known. He was always confident in his position with Christ, and unafraid to share it with others.
He was the best natural networker I ever met, and is the reason why I have our dear mutual friend and brother, Mark Kislingbury. It was Daniel’s keen awareness that saw I would be a good friend, to his friend, Mark Kislingbury. Together we all three shared many common interests such as chess, and God’s Word. We learned from each other that even though we were from vastly different back grounds and walks of life, and totally different geographic locations, we shared the same exact love for God. Daniel’s Jesus was, and is, the same as my Jesus. The mere fact that we were friends at all in such a faith based way, lifted all of our spirits.
In the beginning, as a trio, we all took a wonderful risk in promoting our friendship, and opened our hearts up to total strangers based solely on our mutual love of Christ to guide us. It was a risk that has lasted to this day, some 15 years later.
Daniel loved his family, and loved God for giving them to him. Please accept my deepest sympathies, your loss is our loss, but there will come a day when we will be with him again.
God bless you and comfort you in this difficult time,
Your brother in Christ,
Don Gaetke

It’s good we are writing because our voices still crack when we speak about him. His cheerful demeanor, optimism and tenacity were hallmarks of a successful man. His service to the Lord was apparent, and we are certain he was received with the blessing, “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into your Master’s Joy!” We will miss him sorely, and our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Daniels untimely passing, but as we all know Daniel was a man of God and he is with our lord and savior at this time. I mwr Daniel and the family at New Hope Church and admired Daniel and his entire family. The boys are all great kids and his wife, outstanding. He will be missed by all who knew him, but mostly feel sorry for all the people who never had the chance to know him.

Danny and I went to school in Marshall, MO together and we become good friends while playing sax in the band together. He was such a great guy and although I had only seen and spoke with him a couple times since high school, I will always remember his smile.
My sympathy to his family and friends, I know he will be greatly missed.

In the 5 or six years that I knew Daniel I never heard him say anything thing negative. He was always happy and up beat, even after a long hike when we were all tired he still had a smile on.
Daniel was very supportive of me in Scouting and I will always remember that.
The world is a better place because of Daniel.
