As a child back in the 60s, I remember lots of baseball games in the Barrier’s backyard with Jeff, Bud and Chuck. Mrs Barrier fed me alot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! She was great! My condolences to the Barrier family.

The memorial celebration was beautiful! Bobbye was rejoicing in Heaven. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Of all the friends I have known through the years, she was the one who got motherhood right!! You are blessed to have received so much love. The wonderful memories wrapped up in her wisdom, humor and love will carry you through the difficult days ahead.
Bobbye was a delight to work with at FBC. I can still see her coming into the office for a break from the kitchen (as she lovingly called “The Black Hole of Calcutta”). We worked together in the office too and she left me with many words of wisdom that I will never forget. Those precious memories will warm my heart until I see her again.
Just a note: the BBQ was a gift from James & Gail, Jamye and Carolyn. Thank you for allowing us to share this special time with your family.

Bobbye was my second mom for over 20 years. She taught me alot about being a mom and graciously let us live in her home for 14 months when we were between jobs with a 1,4, and 7 year old (who of course contracted chicken pox..each two weeks apart). She never made me feel unwelcome during that time. She was a great storyteller, patriot, and most of all took tremendous pride in her family. I love you Bobbye.
