I didn't know him that well but from what I've heard he was heck of a granpa.

We are very saddened by the tragic news of Jim’s passing. He will forever be remembered by our family as a great neighbour, a great friend, and an all-around great guy. Jim was such a great friend to my grandma who lives next door and looked after her everyday and this is a gesture that is greatly appreciated!! We will miss you Jim but know that you are an angel looking over us.
Martha, you are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
With Love,
The Stiles Family

We recently met Jim and Martha through a close friend who introduced us at a Texans game, which they Won! Jim and Martha were a very nice and loving couple and before the day ended we felt as though we had known them for years. It’s always nice to meet people like them and through our cheering at the top of our lungs that day we had mentioned we where taking vacation in New York. Our close friend and her Best friend had made the trip once but it was awhile back and wanted to go again so before the game was over Jim and Martha decided to join us making it six th NY City.
That trip was just last week and we had a Blast and even though Jim’s knee was really bothering him he was a trooper and never gave up even if it meant he had to take a cab and meet us at our next stop. Unfortunately our Lord and Savor took Jim from us all before he could finish his vacation with us, but I know his view of NY City from Heaven was better than anything the Empire State building could offer.
Jim you will be missed by all and we will miss our New Friend.
Our Prayers are with Martha as she begins a new stage of her life.
Our Deepest Sympathy,
Bill & Patt Hitt

Martha, I was so sad to hear that Jim had died. He was a part of me and Lisa’s life. We saw him just about everyday. We will miss his big smile and how friendly he was. He always reached out to help us when needed. That we will never forget. He was a GREAT neighbor and friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time, and we reach a hand out to you if you need anything.
Jim will be very greatly missed in the neighborhood!
