Terri is at peace now that she is in her real home. I remember when I first met her that Dr. Joe Boles told me she was one of the most spiritual women he knew. That scared me! I tried to be real good when we were together. She laughed when I told her that. Loved her potato soup. Terri sent a personal note of thanks to David for his military service in Vietnam and he still has that note and often reads it. Blessings to each of you as you remember and mourn for her.

Howard, Nanette, Jenny, and Brenda, our hearts were saddened by the news of Terri’s passing. Though we know she is happy and well in Heaven, we will miss her at the Bellaire Baptist reunions. We have lots of good memories of her–some are of fun times, like when our families went to the beach together, and how she liked to go to Galveston on her wedding anniversary. She was such an example of doing for others that when I retired I asked God to let me learn to cook like Terri. Would like to be at the service but will not be able to make it. Love to you all!

Terri was such a great lady who, along with Howard, was so very supportive of David’s dad in his ministry. We know that she will be missed so much but what great a place she is in today! We pray that the Lord will anoint you with his peace and abundant love in the days and weeks ahead.
Blessings to each of you.

Nanette, Jenni, Brenda, and all of yours,
Love and comfort to you. Your Mother was such a joy to so many and I remember her loaning me a book once that I know greatly influenced my life. Her example of raising her daughters was something I never forgot as I raised four of my own. May the Lord’s peace and his presence be with you all as you celebrate her wonderful life. May He give you all strength as you grieve and wrap you in His arms of love. Many blessings.

Howard and Girls….How blessed we were to worship with the Keirs in the middle to late 60’s at 1st Bellaire. Terri was my SS teacher and,put us to the task of Godly wives and mothers , she certainly did!! And as Burke was in the printing industry, he had a good connection with Howard. May the thought of just how many lives she touched for our Lord be of most comfort to you.

Nanette, Jenny and Brenda,
I’m so happy that my Aunt Theresa is at home with Jesus, and I know that she would want us rejoicing on her behalf! I love her more than ever, as I’m so grateful for the sweet family she created which blesses my family in ways I could have never known. I’m extending hugs from Missouri to all of you. Give Uncle Howard a big squeeze for me, too!

Dear Keir Family,
Oh, how precious your wife/mother was! Mrs. Keir dearly loved Jesus, and that was evident from her life. She also loved her wonderful husband and 3 beautiful daughters, as well as her church; her spiritual influence touched the Cast family, along with many others at First Baptist Bellaire!
How grateful we are to have been in fellowship with your sweet family, and our love and prayers are with you.
May the Lord comfort you with His peace and presence.

Howard, Nanette, Jenni, Brenda and family our prayers go before our Lord for you during this time of grieving and celebration for Terri. She remains in our hearts over these many years as a lasting impression of God’s grace. We have fond memories of sitting around her kitchen table waiting for fried bananas to come out of the skillet! I learned so much about becoming a Godly woman sitting at that table. I suspect no one stepped across the threshold of heaven more eagerly than Terri. We look forward to seeing her again.

Terri was indeed a woman of God. She set a priceless example to all of us. She has impacted our lives and the lives of our children for eternity. I thank God for her. I know this is a very difficult time for you, but I also know that we will again see her in Heaven. To all the Keir family…
Your wife and mom was a great woman of God, and I loved her. I have such sweet memories of spending time at your home at the kitchen table just talking. She took such an interest in me as a teenager and as a young married woman. In a way I’m not sad about her passing because I know where she is and she lived for God’s Kingdom all of her life. I am sad for the three of you and for your dad. I hope he is doing well. Dennis and I won’t be able to attend the service because he is in the process, with his brother, of placing Alice in assisted living; the move date is Friday. But our hearts and prayers are with you all. May the Lord bless all of you as you go through this time of sorrow and may you know the Presence of the Lord with you at all times. Love, Laura and Dennis

Mrs. Keir was such a wonderful Godly lady! I have so many fond memories of her. She was such a positive role model for me growing up in church with her since I was a year old. She taught me so much. She had a heart of gold. She made me her famous potato soup when I was sick, and she prayed for me so much. She always encouraged me. It meant so much! I will always cherish my memories of Mrs. Keir. She and Mr. Keir have always been two of my favorite people that I looked up to and wanted to model my life after. I cannot even imagine the amount of lives that she has impacted in such a positive way. Although she will be so greatly missed on Earth, I know I will see her again one day. And I know she is happy, healthy again, and rejoicing with the Lord. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman. I loved her dearly, and I will miss her.

We are sad to hear of Terri’s passing. We remember the time she flagged us down in the car as newly weds and asked us to Sunday lunch. There are many other memories of her helping with Bible school, teaching Sunday School, Training Union, and helping in the church kitchens and weddings. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord . . .they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” Rev. 14:13. Howard, Nanette, Jenni and Brenda we are so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you.

Dear Nanette, Jenni and Brenda – Bob Black just sent me the news of your mom’s passing – I remember her like it was yesterday! I have wonderful memories of her – even the times she chastised me for bad behavior or inappropriate dress at church! She loved us all, didn’t she? I know you will miss her – but what a legacy she leaves in you three! I’d love to catch up with you (Nanette, please drop me an email when you have a moment) – know that Charles and I are praying for you three and your dad. May His peace be yours!
Our love,
Karen for Charles, too

Howard, Nanette, Jenni, Brenda and famalies,
We are so saddened by the passing of Terri. But we know that she is rejoicing that she is home at last. Terri was always such a special “Lady” in every way. I think if you looked up the name Terri Keir, you would find beside her name “Godly Lady”. She was such a roll model and inspiration to so many people, both young and old. She will be greatly missed, not only by you, but by the many people whose lives she touched. The Holmes family being among the ones on top of the list. God’s blessings on all of you.
Our Love to you all,
George & Ann
