I am very sorry to hear about Joe’s death. I knew him and worked around him in the Mission Control Center for years and both liked and respected Joe. Joe was a real friend. He could be candid and full of humor at the same time. I really enjoyed being around Joe. He and I were banished to the simulation and training facility at JSC at the same time and it was on that work assignment that I really came to know and respect his talents. The world will not be the same without Joe Evil.
