Obituary of Joseph Ridas Vice

Joseph “Joe” Ridas Vice, 74, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pressley and Rida Vice. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elwin Vice; daughters, Vicky Lucchese and husband, Mark, Paula Davidson and husband, Mitch, and Darlene Vice; son, Brian Vice and wife, Rachelle; brothers, Calvin Vice and wife, Mary, Kirk Vice and wife, Liz; grandchildren, Brandon Lucchese, Alyssa Roman and husband, Eduardo, Anne Marie Lucchese, Chase, Connor and Corinne Davidson, Kara and Jake Vice; great grandchildren, David, Alayna and Evan Roman; and a host of other family and friends. Joe was proud to say that he started with the NASA space program in the early years. He had a very successful career with NASA that lasted for over 34 years. After retirement, Joe loved spending time with his family and especially his beloved grandchildren. Joe will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s honor to the charity of your choice. A visitation and funeral for Joe will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will take place at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
