I have known Henry for about 4 years in the Pearland Toastmasters club. Warm, Sunny, Friendly, Caring and Sincere are the words that come to mind when I think of Henry. He was always very positive and helpful as he assisted other members on improving their public speaking skills. We will surely miss him walking into our meetings when he could be there with his wonderful smile and coffee cup.

My brother, Tommy, told me of Butch’s death last night. It was truly sad news for all of my famly. I enjoyed visiting with Butch the last time I made it to a reunion. I can only imagine the reunion that is taking place in the home of our heavenly father. I know that many beautiful family stories are being exchanged and heaven is rejoicing at the his arrival. Just know that we cherish his memory and we are keeping all of you in our prayers.

I met Henry through BNI. I was a member of the Referral Connection. Henry was our director. Our group met at 7:30 am at the Panera Bread on Bay Area and Henry and I would come early and share a cup of coffee and talk about our familys and our business. We had many things in common; Henry and I shared the same birthday, we lived in Pearland , my husband retired from the military and we both loved to talk about our children and grandchildren.
Henry made my life better by his genuine concern for people and his dedication to service.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family,
and will rejoice with them in days ahead as God’s Grace overwhelms their sorrows with glimpses of Henry rejoicing around the Throne!

Although it has been many years and we have lost touch with family, I had a heavy heart after learning of Henrys passing ! Kathy and I remember Henry (Butch) fondly.
He seemed a kind man, outgoing, good natured, and family oriented. It seems as if our savior decided he needed another great soldier by his side !
Words cannot express our sympathies for the pain the family must be going through.
Sincerely ,
Jim & Kathy Walker

We can not begin to express how we felt when we learned of Stan’s accident & death.
When we think of Stan…so many wonderful memories of the time spent together while Gerry & Stan were in the Air Force at MB come to mind and we will always cherish those memories…as we sorta grew up together and became like brothers & sisters.
We are so glad we did get to spend some time together on your trip to Virginia….Cyndi you and the family are welcome any time.
Please know that all of you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Cyndi…as you said on the phone Wednesday night…there is peace in knowing that Stan is with our Lord and Savior.
Love, Hugs & Prayers…Krystal & Gerry Smith

On Monday, November 3, 2008, we lost a monumental branch of our family tree. Uncle Henry was the kindest, sweetest and gentlest man I have ever known. His pride of his Country, his love for his family and his faith in God is a great testament to the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind. Although his footprints are way too big for most of us to ever fill, I pray that we all may follow in his shadow to be the example he was to others. To Aunt Cindy, Theresa & Dee, keep your faith in God and know that there is a brighter day coming and your tears of grief will turn to tears of joy for the memories Uncle Henry has left you.
Love and Prayers to all,
Val
