I miss you grandpa. Every now and then I like to listen to the voice mail you and grandma left, singing me happy birthday. I am so happy to be living back in Pearland with my wife and three girls. Wish I could have made it back sooner to visit with you and watch baseball.
I loved when you would call me and keep me updated on Pearland Little League Baseball. I loved your stories about Davy Crockett and Daniel Bone and you pretending to blow in your thumb and then flex your bicep, we believed that trick for years! And who could forget having grandma’s “Tennessee breakfast”.
Miss and Love you allot.
James

Kathleen, “Doll” and Lenard’s Loving Family …
It has been a while since I had the privilege of chatting with you and your family. I remember how kind, loving and dedicated Lenard was to everyone he met. He never seemed to meet a stranger and his passion for life was always evident in his daily activities via sense of humor and passion/compassion for others. It was always delightful to see him drive by in his “Orange Blossom Special.” Lenard touched so many lives and will be missed by more than can be imagined. He will be “living on” through his loving family and friends.
If you and/or family ever need ANYTHING, please do not hesitate to contact me.
May God Bless You and your family members during this time. Respectfully …
Love ya, Millie Toth [matoth@mdanderson.org]

Kathleen, Larry and Doll:
Lenard was a hoot and so funny. I loved his jokes and his smile. He knew more than most people in their entire life time. I know he will be missed by many people and your family. He was one of a kind and a true diamond in the sky. He was so proud of all his grandchildren. He is in Heaven and not suffering anymore. God needed a mastermind in Heaven, so he called on Lenard. Eddie and I are here for you all and whatever you need. God Bless you all.
Love you all,
Kelly and Eddie Rogers
