Obituary of Richard Armistead Holt

Richard Armistead Holt, 59 of Baytown, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Otto. Richard is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Holt Faust; former wife, Diana Davis; sons, Ty Davis and wife, Kim, Brian Davis and wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan, Jayden and Madelyn Davis; and a host of other family and friends. Richard was an avid photographer and D.J. for parties, dances, and weddings. He loved to socialize with everyone and never met a stranger. Richard enjoyed fishing, cooking and eating. He was affectionately known as Granddad and cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with his grandchildren. Richard remained very close to many of his lifelong friends from Angleton where he grew up. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service for Richard will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor David Villejoin officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm at Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Road, Angleton, TX 77515.
