Shane, Although we did not have the pleasure of knowing your Mother, we are deeply saddened for the loss. She had to be an amazing soul to have raised an awesome guy like yourself. On the behalf of crew #3 we send heartfelt condolences to you and your family. WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT,BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING…Psalm 30:5

Oh Cheryl, my heart is breaking right now. From elementary till high school we were inseparable. She loved to talk and I was a good listener. She was fun, loving, and a loyal friend. I was fortunate to have shared so many years with her. We shared a love for each other that was unconditional. She was my best friend. To her family: I know she loved you each very much. Shane, your mother loved you very, very much and was so proud of the man you have become. Alicia, your mother loved and depended on you so much. She was proud of what a good mother you are to your children. Her face would light up just talking about them. And Shelly, her baby girl. She was so proud of you becoming a nurse and at the same time afraid of what you would encounter in your career in the Army. She also loved you very much! My sorrow is great and yet I know she was met with a hug from the father she lost way too early, her mom, Poppy, and Gigi and so many others that love her and went before her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you kids.

Cheryl Lynn,
I love and miss you so very much! You have been a wonderful part of my life since I first met you at age 16 and we certainly had some grand times together over the years. Cheryl, you have such a loving, giving heart and a spunky, vivacious personality. My heart goes out to Shane, Alecia, and Shelly in their days of grief! And, there
is such a void in my life right now that will ultimately be filled with the memory of you.
The opposite of Death is Birth. Your Spirit will always be here with us, just changed into something more wonderful!
Love always, Dana Sue

I will forever be grateful to Cheryl and the way she welcomed me into her family as one of her own. She was always willing to share her wisdom and support in time of need. Even though I had not seen her in years she was always in my thoughts, heart and prayers. I pray that knowing the impact she had on me and others will give some comfort to her loved ones now. I am so sorry she left so soon. May God’s peace and comfort be with you all.
