Audean, Dennis, Ann and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have enjoyed knowing your family for a lot of years. Our families have had many good times together at Sweetiface and Cousin Jewell’s house. A lot of Sunday afternoons perfecting the game of croquet. Doug was a good man and again I’m sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Doug was always one of my closest friends during my time in
Texas. I was a banker in Pasadena and with North American Mortgage Corp.
in Houston. Doug was an Outstanding individual and one I always highly respected and admired
I am now living in Decatur, Alabama and retired from banking in 1998.
After 32 years in the active Army Reserve I retired from the Army in 1987 as
a Colonel.
I send my deepest sympathy to the family.
