I’m sorry to hear about Patti. Many years have passed since I last saw her. From the other responses here, she turned out to be a very nice and well loved person. Her mother would be prowd of her.
To her son John Michael, you mother will be with you each time you think of her and all the good times you had with her. My condolence Mike, Neal, Delores & Kathy, on the loss of your sister. Also to Herb, Patti’s father. My son Dan remembers years ago he, Patti, Mike & Neal went up to the bowling alley at the end of the street in Northland, while the rest of the adult family members celebrated Ken & Mary’s wedding in the garage.
Would love to hear from my ‘lost extended family’ I have a picture when Patti’s mother and all the kids came to our house and we all went to the zoo. We really took up a lot of space with 2 families of 5 children walking down the walkways!
Sue Hieber, (Karl’s first wife)

I would like to thank all of those who have sent condolences over the past few weeks. It amazes me how many old or current acquaintances (family, friends or colleagues) have responded with support and encouraging words for Patty’s family and especially our son, John. Many people have recalled good memories with Patty and I can tell you all that she had equally good memories of you as well. She enjoyed being with people and would do anything to help someone. She loved her job, her friends, her hobbies and especially her family. I’ll miss her very much and she will always have a place in my heart.

John,
I had the pleasure of knowing Patty since 2001 and working with Patty 2001 till April of 2008. I enjoyed her spirit and her sense of herself. As manager of the group I always felt that I would get the truth from her, not changed cause I was the boss. I enjoyed that about her. I am sorry for your loss and offer my condolences. The company will miss her and I will too.

I am so grateful to have had a big sister to teach me how to love people no matter what. Patty was a remarkable lady and I got to tell her that in her last days. I am grateful to God to have had the opportunity to help her go home. I promised her I would help John Michael in anyway and I intend to keep that promise. So John if you need anything I will be there for you. Even if it is as simple as a phonecall to talk. Love You, Aunt Kathy and Randy

I along with so many will miss my big sister patty. She was an awesome person and did so much for so many. I have so many memories of growing up and growing old with her. She helped me through some tough times and was always so strong. Anyone who knows her son John knows that being a mother was her greatest accomplishment. She was very sick but still managed to keep us laughing even at the very end. I know she is happy and with her grandparents and mother watching over all of us. I will miss you Patty, Love Dolores

We are all so sorry to hear of Patty’s passing. She was a wonderful person, always so full of life, and she will be sorely missed by so many. Patty was such an involved and caring mother to her son, John, and it was obvious to all who knew her how much she loved and cherished him. We are sorry that we could not be there in person for her memorial service, but please know, John, that you and your mom are in our thoughts and prayers, and we will keep our happy memories of our times together in our hearts.

John,
Please accept my deepest condolences. Although I met you and Patty only briefly during my visit 5 years ago, but i was touched by kindness and hospitality you both displayed during my visit. Remember the Astro’s game at the stadium? That was a great fun! I rememeber your funny dog in the house. I have followed your lives through John, and my thoughts (and not only mine, but of many John’s friends in Kazakhstan) were with Patty and you in the last few months. I know how painful it is to lose your mother and best friend. Patty was a wonderful person and she would be proud to see how you handle this difficult time. Please take care and have a fulfilling life as Patty and any other loving mother would want her child to do.

When we were growing up my cousin Patty was the sister I never had. We were only a year apart and I used to beg my parents to bring her camping with us for weekends at Timber Lake. She was my accomplice, my confidant and my best friend. She even came to Florida with us on one of our Christmas vacations and I remember that one being my best ever. When she moved to Texas and we grew up, I only saw her at special occasions (like her wedding where I drank way too much amaretto)and our cousin Denise’s wedding. I ended up staying in her hotel room that night with her and John Michael laughing and watching cartoons like old times. It breaks my heart to know that I will never see her again on this earth, but I know that we will be together again in heaven where we will once again be up to our tricks. John Michael, my thoughts and prayers are with you. She loved you (and still does) very very much.

She always knew where to find things that I thought had long disappeared. I will miss her at the office. The years that I worked with her at Briarpark will be remembered.
